We are pleased to announce the opening of a U.S. office outside of Washington, DC, and the addition of two new Directors to our growing Team. Sean Cusson, previously a Director with Airports Council International North America, will serve as a Director in our U.S. office. Marie-Caroline Laurent, previously spearheading regulatory affairs for the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in their Brussels office, will serve as a Director in Europe.

Sean Cusson, Director
Sean manages LAM LHA’s U.S. practice, applying regulatory and policy expertise to provide actionable strategies to a global list of clients. Previously a Director for Safety and Security for Airport’s Council International North America, Sean advised U.S. airports on a range of regulatory matters, advocating on their behalf to U.S. federal agencies. Sean also worked for U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Congressional Affairs, responding regularly to inquiries regarding passenger facilitation and cargo security. Sean has a law degree from New England Law|Boston and a bachelors in political science from George Washington University.
Marie-Caroline Laurent, Director
Marie-Caroline leads LAM LHA’s European activities, focusing on regulatory strategy and passenger facilitation matters. Prior to joining LAM LHA, Marie-Caroline was Assistant Director with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Brussels where she developed IATA’s position on EU legislation impacting the aviation sector, advocated on IATA member airlines’ behalf, and developed IATA travel facilitation strategies. Before IATA, Marie-Caroline held positions related to aviation and transport policy with EU trade associations and in the European Parliament. She holds master degrees from both Sciences Po Paris (IEP) and the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. Marie-Caroline is also a certified IATA external instructor, regularly leading IATA courses on Passenger Data Exchange Programs.
