Case Study

Passenger Flow Analytics & AVSEC Optimization

Project Overview

We supported a European passenger analytics company through the U.S. Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Innovation Task Force (ITF) program, also identifying a funding opportunity through a broader Department of Homeland Security innovation program. The ITF demonstration informed TSA’s approach to future requirements, while at the same time providing our client with valuable insights into the operational realities of security checkpoints across U.S. airports.

Airport operators are constantly faced with unforeseen events like bad weather or large tour groups. The only way to adjust operations on the fly is by automating passenger arrival information through new data collection capabilities. Our client has demonstrated how accurate collection of this type of data has a positive ripple effect along the passenger facilitation value chain.
